JOB DETAILS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 4 years experience as a 1st class naval/commercial outside machinist
- Prefer to have experience with the following:
:: Advanced weapons elevators
:: Installation of aircraft elevators
- Must have the following experience:
:: Working knowledge of shipbuilding terms
:: Ability to operate a lathe
:: Installation of main engine & propulsion plant machinery & equipment
:: Installation of anchor windlass/mast/antenna/ballast tanks/etc
:: Should be able to operate a cargo crane, as well as a portable milling/drill machine
:: Ability to install & align pumps & motors (M-179 & JX)
:: Ability to install various hydraulic components
- Must be able to work any shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
- Must be a naturalized or US citizen

SCOPE OF WORK/JOB DUTIES:
- Marine work on a naval yard working on United States Naval vessels
- Employee would be responsible for own travel/lodging

PRIOR TO WORK:
Each potential employee is required to pass a federal background check and drug test.

PAY INFORMATION:
- Up to $27.31/hr
- $120/working day per diem for all qualified candidates
