360X Staffing is hiring for Outside Machinist Specialists for long term work in a shipyard setting.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for machinery equipment, parts, machinery, interiors and exteriors of ships, and shipyard buildings at our vast, 63-acre facility.

Detailed Description:
Follows directions under intermittent supervision.
Align and fit parts according to specifications using a variety of tools and equipment.

Install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment.
Assemble, adjust, and repair a diversified range of equipment.
Diagnose and solve problems of all kinds.
Troubleshoot problems with all equipment as it arises.
Proper storage of equipment and pumps.
May be assigned miscellaneous tasks outside craft as required.
Clean tanks and machinery spaces to gas-free specifications.
Attendance is an essential function of the job.
Ability and willingness to engage in highly energetic pursuits on the waterfront.
Abide by safety and sanitation regulations.
Maintain a commitment to and promote the Quality Policy.
Abide by all organizational policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
� High School Diploma
� Ability to work while kneeling, crouching, squatting, lying down, overhead, etc.
� A self-starter who can work with minimal supervision on an 8 for 8 basis
� Ability to work in inclement weather

Desired Qualifications:
� 3+ years of experience preferred
� Prior shipyard experience a plus
� Outside Machinist / Millwright / Mechanic experience preferred
� Mechanically inclined
� Work from mechanical plans, blueprints, schematics, sketches, and read hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams
