Candidate Requirements:

Minimum of 3-5+ years of shipyard carbon steel TIG/GTAW welding experience .
CMS approves candidates based on resumes and phone or in person interviews.
Must be US citizen or permanent resident and provide proof to NSC beforehand and must present original document at the Security Office the day of Orientation
Must be eligible to obtain DBIDS credentials to access Naval Station Mayport
CMS onboarding, OSHA 10 Maritime, NHO, and Firewatch training must be completed before Orientation.
Candidates must arrange their own transportation to Jacksonville, FL
Non-locals may receive approval for a one-week hotel advance or cash advance if necessary.
Must be capable of wearing a respirator and passing standard background checks, audiogram, and drug screen
