360X Staffing is hiring for Pipefitters for Fitters with Shipyard experience, If you have worked in a DOD shipyard that would be great for experience.

We are currently seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team for building Navy Class Frigate ships in a DOD shipyard located in Northeast Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fitting and assembling piping systems for marine vessels, with specific requirements for passing Silver Braze Tests for various pipe-to-sleeve and coupling connections.

Responsibilities:
- Fit and assemble piping systems according to blueprint specifications for Navy Class Frigate ships
- Perform Silver Braze Tests for CuNi pipe to bronze sleeve, CuNi pipe to carbon steel sleeve, and copper coupling to copper pipe
- Conduct braze tests in vertical flow and horizontal flow positions as required
- Work in a semi-restricted booth to ensure a controlled environment for testing
- Inspect completed pipe fittings and connections for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter, with a focus on marine vessel construction or shipbuilding
- Ability to pass Silver Braze Tests for various pipe connections, including CuNi pipe, bronze sleeve, carbon steel sleeve, and copper coupling
- Proficiency in braze testing in both vertical flow and horizontal flow positions
- Strong understanding of piping systems, fittings, and assembly techniques
- Certification in brazing processes and techniques is preferred
- Attention to detail, precision, and accuracy in pipe fitting and brazing tasks
- Physical ability to work in a semi-restricted booth environment
