Pay $22.00 + $150.00 Per diem

The hotel is advanced for the first 2 weeks. (loan)
Travel reimbursement of $300 on first paycheck

Required Skills:

Four years of naval / commercial shipyard experience as a first-class Welder.

Must be able to fit and weld, and read blueprints efficiently

Experience working in a physically demanding environment (shipboard, sub-assemblies, ladders, staging, etc.).

Familiarity with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industry.

Air Carbon Arc Gouging.

Ability to properly use fillet and butt weld gauges.

Test

FCAW 2g, 3g, 4g Steel backing and bend test
