Long-Term Structural Welder Position in Calvert City KY.

JOB DETAILS:
- Local Pay: Up to $27/hr, dependent on test
- Travel Pay: Up to $24/hr with $100/working day, depending on test
- Minimum 40hrs/wk work (overtime not guaranteed)
- Long-Term Work
- Employee responsible for travel & lodging
- Onsite skills test, drug test, & medical

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3yrs recent experience as marine welder
- Must be able to pass onsite dual shielded gas wire 2f, 3f, 4f, 2g, 3g, 4g weld test
- Must be able to pass drug test & respirator fit test (must be clean shaven)
- Must have own vehicle, tools, & PPE
- Must be able to pass a dual shield wire weld test

REQUIRED TOOLS/PPE:
- Welding hood.
- Gloves.
- Chipping hammer.
- Sleeves.
- Grinder (if wanted)
- Basic PPE.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Tradesmen International interview/new hire documentation.
- Professional reference checks.
- Pre-employment skills test - onsite.
- Pre-employment medical, including drug test, physical, and respirator fit test (must be clean shaven).
- Pre-employment orientation/I9 completion with site coordinator.

Skills test, medical, & orientation done on the same day � you will start work the next day, if cleared.

Job Details:
- Repair work on towboats & river barges.
- Some new construction, based on client need.
- Primarily working with stainless steel, some carbon work will be needed.
