Location: Marinette & Green Bay, WI
Pay: $30-$32/hr + $130/day per diem (for non-local candidates)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday�Saturday (10-hour days)
Start Date: ASAP (Pending onboarding & background clearance)

Lead the Next Generation of Shipbuilders
Are you a proven leader in structural welding, pipe welding, or fitting with shipyard experience? NSC Staffing is seeking an experienced Welding & Fitting Supervisor to support ongoing repair and outfitting work aboard LCS (Littoral Combat Ships) in Marinette and Green Bay, WI.

This is your opportunity to step into a high-impact role where you'll guide crews, manage schedules, and oversee hotwork operations that keep naval vessels mission-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise a crew of ~20 skilled trades performing welding, fitting, pipe, and outfitting work
Oversee hotwork operations including aluminum & steel welding, structural fitting, and pipe welding
Monitor daily production, safety, and quality�track milestones and complete documentation (Sea Trial Cards, QA logs, job specs)
Coordinate labor, overtime, and materials across two job sites (Marinette & Green Bay)
Serve as liaison between crews, subcontractors, and Navy/Prime stakeholders
Plan and track production using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Attend daily planning and inspection meetings, resolve conflicts, and enforce company safety policy

Qualifications:

5+ years of shipyard hotwork experience (welding, fitting, or pipe systems)
2+ years of team leadership, foreman, or supervisor experience in a shipyard environment
Strong working knowledge of LCS platforms and repair processes is a major plus
Must be proficient with computers (Microsoft Office) and digital production tracking
Able to read and interpret blueprints, WAFs, and weld inspection reports
Comfortable wearing a respirator and working at heights/in confined spaces

Required Certifications (or must obtain):

Firewatch Certification (required)
OSHA 10 Maritime (must be obtained within 30 days�provided by NSC)
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required for base access)
Must pass a background check, drug screen, and audiogram
Must complete CMS onboarding, NHO, and Firewatch training before orientation
