Great opportunity with Trade Team USA! We are looking for shipfitters in a new construction shipyard in Mobile, AL. Covered workspace areas. Interpreting blueprint readings, measurements, laying out and fabricating skills are a must. Below are some more key details.

Details:

Hourly Rate - $32.00

Per Diem - $150 per day

Additional Details:

Eligibility for travel reimbursement 100 miles out of area.

Hotel assistance is offered (advanced until first paycheck)

Job Requirements:

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipyard shipfitting.

Testing will consist of:

A practical, layout, written and weld portion.

FCAW Carbon Steel Fillet Weld Test (WDG-170)

2 Position fillet weld break test.

4 - 3/8 plate 12 long A36/EH36 Mild Steel (break test)

2 positions (3F-Vertical, 4F-Overhead)

0.045/0.052 E71T-1M Seamless Flux core wire

75% Argon, 25% Carbon Dioxide Gas
