Location: San Diego, CA

Wages:
$34.00 per Hour

Experience:
Previous experience in metal works. Must be able to read blueprints and understand the layout of a ship with compartment identification. Must have the ability to use hand and power tools safely and identify nuts and bolts according to size.

Job Tasks
1. Set up tools, accessories and supplies at job site.
2. Remove, modify, fabricate, and install ventilation ducts, cabinets, shelves and other equipment.
3. Review blueprints and sketches, and layout material according to specifications.
4. Cut, drill, rivet and weld sheet metal.
5. Operate a variety of power tools.
6. Other job duties as may be assigned relevant to the trade.

Requirements:
Must successfully pass a background, drug & alcohol test
OSHA 10 Hour Maritime Certificate - OSHA Course of Certification will be provided to qualifying candidates.
Must have or be eligible to get a DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification)
