Pay: $23/hr + $150 daily per diem for days worked

Job Description:

As a Structural Welder working on building Navy ships in North East Wisconsin, you will be responsible for utilizing your welding expertise to fabricate and assemble structural components for naval vessels. You will primarily work with .052 fluxcore wire in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions on 3/8" carbon steel plates with a backing strip.

Responsibilities:

- Perform structural welding tasks in accordance with project specifications and welding procedures.
- Utilize .052 fluxcore wire to weld in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions on 3/8" carbon steel plates with a backing strip.
- Interpret and follow blueprints to ensure accurate and high-quality welds.
- Conduct visual inspections of welds to meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Structural Welder, preferably in shipbuilding or marine industries.
- Proficiency in welding with .052 fluxcore wire in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions on carbon steel plates.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate efficiently with colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship in welding tasks.
- Relevant certifications in welding processes and techniques.

Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
