Pay: $25/hr + $100 daily per diem for days worked

Job Description:

We are currently seeking skilled Pipefitters to work in a shipyard environment, focusing on commercial ship repair projects involving carbon steel pipes. The ideal candidates will be proficient in reading tape measures and demonstrate technical proficiency in pipefitting tasks. As part of the assessment process, you will be required to showcase your knowledge and skills in various pipefitting techniques.

Responsibilities:

- Read a ruler accurately to ensure precise measurements for pipefitting tasks.
- Utilize a 4.5" angle grinder for cutting operations as per project requirements.
- Interpret and read spool prints to fabricate pipe spools effectively.
- Fabricate actual pipe spools based on project specifications.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using a pipe wraparound tool for accurate pipefitting.

Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Hours: 48+/week
