NSC Staffing is looking for experienced Pipefitters (3-6 years) to join our team in Marinette, WI.
This is a great opportunity to put your skills to work on ship repair and modernization projects. If you have experience with marine piping systems and take pride in quality work, weld like to hear from you.

What You'll Do:
Layout, fit, install, repair, and test marine piping systems including salt water, fire main, potable water, hydraulics, compressed air, fuel oil, lube oil, and exhaust lines.
Work from blueprints, drawings, and job specs to get the job done right.
Use tools and machines like pipe threaders, bending machines, drill presses, and brazing gear.
Perform tank blanking and pressure testing.

What We're Looking For:
3-6 years of pipefitting experience (at least 3 years in marine work).
Must have experience with copper, copper nickel, silver, and carbon steel.
Solid understanding of P-73 joint fit-up and silver brazing.
Ability to follow specs and standards like NAVSEA, ABS, and MSC.

Location: Marinette, WI
Type of Work: Naval Shipbuilding, Fabrication and Repair
US Person Status: Proof of US citizenship or permanent residency required (Birth Certificate or Passport)
Environment: Mostly indoor work with the exception of the Water Front assignments where sea trials and inspections are performed on Lake Michigan
Pay: Hourly and per diem pay for each day worked
Period of Performance: Long-term, ongoing 12 month contract. Extensions available after
Shifts: Must be available for any shift, 10-hour shifts (Overtime must be approved by the foreman)

Notes:
OSHA 10 Maritime/Shipyard certification required (may attend virtual training inhouse) within first few weeks of employment if necessary.

Testing:
Copper Nickel to Bronze (2F and 5F) restricted
Copper Nickel to Steel Sleeve (2F) restricted
Cooper to Cooper (2F and 5F)
