CTR has an immediate need for Sheet Metal Mechanics for Newport News, VA

Long term/ Full time/ Per Diem/ Overtime available/ Full Benefits available

Minimum of Three years of experience as a first class Sheet Metal Worker
Installation foundations, ventilation, bulkheads, shipboard furniture, sheet metal fabrication shop
work.
Marine experience preferred. Will accept Aircraft/Industrial/Commercial sheetmetal experience
Must have:
-Ability to comprehend complex ventilation assembly drawings, blueprints, sketches to
include weld symbols, material types, datum and reference lines.
-Ability to comprehend fractional and decimal dimensions as with the use of a ruler.
- Ability to layoff piece parts for fabrication and assembly.
-Ability to assemble piece parts in accordance with specifications
-Experience working in a physically demanding environment.
- Experience using small hand tools (electric drills, grinders, rivet guns), drill press, press break, Shears

Must be able to pass drug test and background check
