360X Staffing is hiring for FluxCore Welders in Grandview, IN.

Pay: $23/hr + $100 daily per diem for days worked

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced FluxCore Welder for shipyard new construction of inland and ocean-going barges. This role requires welding carbon steel plate using 1/16” (0.062”) flux-cored wire, performing vertical up and overhead welds to meet shipbuilding and quality standards. Must Pass 2g, 3g (uphill) and 4g weld test on Carbon steel plate.

Responsibilities:
Perform FCAW welding with 1/16” flux-cored wire on carbon steel plate
Weld vertical up and overhead on barge structures, hulls, and internal components
Follow WPS, blueprints, and shipyard weld symbols
Ensure weld quality, penetration, and compliance with shipyard standards
Perform visual inspection and repair welds as required
Adhere to shipyard safety policies and housekeeping standards

Requirements:
Proven experience as a FluxCore Welder in a shipyard or marine environment
Strong vertical up and overhead welding skills
Experience with new construction of barges or similar marine vessels preferred
Ability to pass a shipyard weld test
Knowledge of shipyard safety practices and procedures

Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Working Hours: 48+ hours per week
