Pay: $34.00

Qualifications:
•Trade Team is looking for candidates that are expected to have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in AC/DC electrical installations is required. Candidates must be proficient in electrical systems, including machinery shutdown systems, navigational and internal communications, and PLC systems, with demonstrated experience in the termination of AC/DC and control systems. A strong understanding of cabling system installations in compliance with marine class society, Navy, and Coast Guard regulations is required, along with the ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. Formal electrical training through an apprenticeship or a comparable program is preferred, as is shipbuilding experience and knowledge of commissioning AC/DC and control systems

Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- A high school diploma or GED is required, or a minimum of two (2) years of maritime experience.

Testing:
The candidate will be required to complete both a written and practical assessment as part of the evaluation process. The hands-on portion will involve working with a three-way switch and a start/stop switch connected to a contactor, demonstrating proficiency in basic electrical control circuits and the ability to safely interpret and implement electrical schematics. This assessment ensures the candidate possesses the practical skills necessary for installation, troubleshooting, and operation of AC/DC control systems in a marine or industrial environment.
