LOCAL Shipfitter needed in Mobile, AL

Pay:
$25–$37 per hour, with 50-hour work weeks currently available.
A $300 travel reimbursement is offered for candidates traveling 150 miles or more
Lodging advancements available if needed

TESTING:
Candidates will complete a hands on shipfitter test that includes blueprint layout, measuring, cutting with a torch (must be able to set up your own torch), fitting, and tack welding. Work will be graded on accuracy, cut quality, fit-up, and tack placement. A short written test covering basic math, marine terminology, and blueprint reading will follow. If time allows, candidates may also complete a steel fillet weld test (vertical and overhead); otherwise, this will be completed during new hire orientation.

Applicants must arrive on time with required tools and PPE.
