Trade Team is currently seeking skilled Pipe Welder to join our team at a shipyard in Newport News, VA.

Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to pass a hair follicle drug test.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Pipe Welder in a shipyard.

Testing:
o ½” Sch 10 CUNI & SS in 6G-R position
o Sockets with EB ring
o Material combinations:
 Carbon – Carbon
 CUNI – CUNI
 SS – SS
 CUNI – SS
 Carbon – SS
• All positions using SMAW and GTAW processes
• Thin wall sockets (required for joints below 0.187” wall)
• Must have experience using a mirror for inspection and welding access
