CTR Group is currently seeking Outside Machinists, 1st Class, for a Shipyard in the Pascagoula, MS area. Transitioning or former Navy members and current Reservists are also encouraged to apply for these positions. Seeking local personnel. Multiple Positions Available!

Pay Rate: $40 per Hour plus Benefits Plus $147 Per Diem for Non-Local Candidates!!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Capable of accomplishing the installation, maintenance, and repair of ship's propulsion and auxiliary systems including, but not limited to Steam, Gas Turbine, and Diesel propulsion systems, rudders and steering gear, elevators, and deck equipment without Supervision

· Capable of accomplishing the installation repair, and maintenance of ship's fluid systems which include pumps, compressors, purifiers, heat exchangers, actuators and valves without Supervision

· Analyze defects and adjusts or repairs electrical mechanical systems of outboard motors.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position may require access to U.S. government or military sites
Candidates must be eligible to obtain base access clearance, which includes passing a background check and presenting valid government-issued identification.
Must be DBIDS-eligible.
