Pay: $27/hr + $130 daily per diem for days worked

Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced Millwright Mechanics to join our team in a marine repair environment. The ideal candidate will have specialized skills in working on ship propulsion systems and performing precision alignment of shafts, rudders, and wheels. This position will involve working in extremely cold weather conditions, so candidates must be physically fit and able to work in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting maintenance and repair work on ship propulsion systems
- Performing precision alignment of shafts, rudders, and wheels to ensure optimal functioning
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues on marine equipment
- Following safety protocols and regulations while working in a marine environment
- Collaborating with a team of marine technicians and engineers to complete repair projects efficiently

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Millwright Mechanic in a marine repair setting
- Expertise in working on ship propulsion systems and performing precision alignments
- Ability to work in extremely cold weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in alignment work
- Physical fitness and stamina for working in a marine environment
- Relevant certifications or trade qualifications in millwright mechanics

Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Hours: 60+/week
