MARINE INSULATOR JOURNEYMAN LEVEL
NONLOCAL $21HR $120 PER DIEM

Seeking an experienced Marine Insulator for journeyman level work in a marine environment.

JOB DUTIES
Fabricate and install insulation using fiberglass foam glass mineral fibers synthetic rubber and related materials
Install insulation on steam hot water chilled water and refrigeration piping as well as HVAC ducts
Install vapor barriers waterproofing canvas covers and metal protection sheets
Anchor insulation using spot-welded pins tie wire metal bands screws and other fasteners
Measure calculate and determine insulation requirements and assist with material orders
Receive work orders and complete tasks independently as required
Perform routine repairs with minimal supervision

REQUIREMENTS
3–5 years experience in the insulation trade
Must have own transportation
Must have own hand tools
Must pass pre-employment physical and drug test

PAY
$21 per hour
$120 per diem nonlocal
