360X Staffing is hiring for Flux Core Welders in Jacksonville, FL.

Pay: $28-30/hr + $130 daily per diem for days worked

1st and 2nd shifts available!

Job Description:

We are currently looking for skilled Flux Core Welders to join our team in a shipyard environment. The ideal candidates will have experience welding with .052 diameter wire in the 2G, 3G, and 4G positions. Previous ship repair experience is preferred, and the candidates must be DBIDS eligible. Additionally, the candidates must be willing to participate in firewatch and OSHA training classes to ensure a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform flux core welding using .052 diameter wire in the 2G, 3G, and 4G positions on marine structures
- Ensure high-quality welds and meet project specifications and standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete ship repair projects efficiently and effectively
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment in the shipyard
- Attend firewatch and OSHA training classes to enhance safety awareness and compliance
Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Flux Core Welder in a shipyard or maritime environment
- Proficiency in welding with .052 diameter wire in the 2G, 3G, and 4G positions
- Prior experience in ship repair or marine welding is preferred
- DBIDS eligible for access to secure naval installations
- Willingness to participate in firewatch and OSHA training classes
- Strong attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, and dedication to safety
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Working Hours: 50+ hours per week
