Marine Electricians needed in Newport News VA, details below.

DOD CLEARANCE STRONGLY PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED.

JOB DETAILS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have minimum 5yrs experience in the electrical field
- Must have minimum 3yrs experience as a marine electrician
- Must have experience with the following:
:: Electrical Theory (ie:DC, AC, Motors, etc)
:: LVR & LVP
:: Schematic symbols, electrical installation drawings, wiring tables, & work packages
:: Electrical components in the system (ie:contractor relays, overload relays transformers, terminal boards, etc)
:: Tape measure // stick ruler
- Must be available to work any shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
- Must be able to pass a hair follicle drug test & lifetime federal background check
- Must be a naturalized or US citizen

SCOPE OF WORK/JOB DUTIES:
- Marine work on a naval yard working on United States Naval vessels
- Employee would be responsible for own travel/lodging

PRIOR TO WORK:
Each potential employee is required to pass a federal background check and drug test.

PAY INFORMATION:
- Up to $37/hr, not guaranteed top pay
- $140/working day per diem for all qualified candidates
