CTR has a need for Pipe Fitters for Shipyard in Newport News, VA
Long term/OT available/Per Diem available for non locals/ Paid Weekly

Must have Three or more years as a Marine, Commercial nuclear, or Petro/chem First Class Pipefitter.
Prefer Shipyard experience in trade
Must have experience with:
Reading and interpreting ship piping drawings and blueprints.
Reading a ruler using inches and tenths.
Fitting carbon steel, CRES, and copper nickel piping.
End prep piping by hand and/or with Wach or Portsmouth Machine.
Prep and fit-up backing rings.
Clean cut/break pipe with a grinder.
Hand prep V bevels.
Fabrication of various details and assemblies from drawings.
Bend pipe from template and in the use of a hand bender.
Fit welded sockets.
Fit brazed joints with/without insert ring.

Must be able to pass background check and able to pass drug test
