ATSS has a client in Pascagoula, MS looking for First Class Pipe Fitters.

Must haves:


Be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident


Be able to read/write/communicate in English




Basic Qualifications:


· Minimum 4Ç Yrs. trade experience


· Basic math, reading and comprehension skills


· Knowledge of the layout, fit-up, fabrication and installation of pipe, flanges and valves


· Read and interpret trade drawings and/or blueprints utilizing both metric and standard measurements





Job Description:


A First-Class Pipefitter, also referred to as a Journeyman Pipefitter, is responsible for fitting pipe consisting of various materials such as steel, galvanized, copper, copper-nickel and stainless along with the appropriate valves and fittings, utilizing various tools and equipment in accordance with drawing, arrangements and blue prints. Production areas at times involve working at different heights, confined spaces, different weather conditions as well as multiple shifts 24 hours a day. As with most every position in the shipyard, a Pipefitter may be required to work either day or night dependent upon the number of ships under construction at any one point in time. The shipyard stresses the practice of working safely in all situations with safety procedures meeting, and most times, exceeding industry standards.





Location: Pascagoula, MS

Duration: Initially 1 year

Base Pay Range: $42 per hour Day Shift- $43 per hour Night Shift

Per Diem $180 daily is available for candidates 75 miles away (verification required via current utility bill)
