NSC Staffing is currently hiring Shipyard GTAW/TIG PIPE WELDERS for work located in Northeastern Wisconsin. Candidates must have 3-5 years of related pipe welding experience.

Responsibilities:
Pipe welder prepares and welds piping systems for various material types as specified by construction drawings and technical guidance documents. Must successfully demonstrate the ability to pass GTAW/TIG welding test on copper nickel, aluminum, and carbon steel in the 6G position.

Start Date: ASAP
Shift: First shift, M-F 10 hours per day. Overtime on Saturday depending on production demands
Pay: $30/hour $130/day per diem

PIPE WELD TESTING:
Must take place in Chesapeake, VA or in Marinette, WI
Testing will be based on GTAW OPEN ROOT or BACKING RING on the following pipes:
- Copper Nickel to Carbon Steel
- Copper Nickel to Copper Nickel
- Stainless Steel to Stainless Steel

Must be able to pass the following sockets once on the job:
- Copper Nickel to Carbon
- Carbon to Stainless
- Carbon Steel
- Stainless Steel
- Copper Nickel
