We have an exciting opportunity for a Shipfitter position in Goose Creek, SC with one of our Clients in the Ship Building Industry.

Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of Shipfitter experience
- Shipyard experience
- Must be able to pass hair follicle drug test
- SMAW-3F, 4F plate test. 3/8” thickness
- Burning Oxygen/Propane burning torch
- Heating Oxygen/propane heating Torch
- Lays out, fits, aligns, and assemble prefabricated cast and forged components prior welding, soldering, brazing, and bonding operations.
- Performs fitting and machining operations such as straighten, grind, burr, drill, ream, and countersink materials to close tolerance.
- General instructions to select equipment, set up, and lay out materials to be welded
- Comprehend fractional dimensions
- Air Carbon arc Gouging
- Grinder and needle gun
- Ability to comprehend complex structural assembly drawings, and sketches to include symbols, material type, datum and reference lines

Hours:
- 2nd Shift-3:30pm-12:00am

Pay:
- $45 Hr
- $135 Per diem if you qualify
