We have an exciting opportunity for a Pipe Welder position in Gosse Creek, SC with one of our Clients in the Ship Building Industry.

Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of Pipe Welding experience
- Must be able to pass hair drug test
- Must have Shipyard experience
- Multi-pass. All position fillet and butt welds using the SMAW (Shielded metal arc) process
- Ability to fuse inserts and weld carbon steel, stainless steel and copper nickel pipe using the SMAW and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) processes
- Mirror welding using SMAW and GTAW
- Use fillet gauges, butt gauges, and a six-inch scale
- Heating oxygen/propane heating
- Ability to fuse inserts and weld carbon steel, stainless steel and copper nickel pipe
- Thin wall socket (0.187 wall joints)
- Performs welding process on steel parts and assemblies to required tolerance using welding metals and metal alloys
- Determine layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawing and specifications

Hours:
- 1st Shift-7am-3:30pm

Pay:
- $50 Hour
- $135 Per Diem if you qualify
