We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Welder position in Goose Creek, SC with one of our Clients in the Ship Building Industry.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Structural Welding experience
- Shipyard welding experience
- Must be able to pass Pulse Mig (GMAW-P) in 2G, 3G, 4G positions 1" thickness with a backgouge
- Spray in 2G positions 3/4" thickness 2G plate test
- Flux cored (FCAW) in 2G, 3G, 4G plate test 3/4" thickness with backing
- Must be able to weld in all 3 positions (horizontal, overhead, and vertical)
- Performs welding on steel parts and assemblies to required tolerance using welding metals and metal alloys.
- Determine layouts and weld parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Heating-Oxygen/propane heating torch
- Air Carbon Arc Gouging
- Multi pass butt welds
- Can work in confined spaces and heights
- Hight School diploma or equivalent and 5 years additional education and /or related experience; Apprentice graduate/associate's degree in relevant discipline and 3 years of related experience
- Familiar with OSHA regulations
- Must be able to pass hair follicle drug test

Hours:
- 2nd Shift-3:30pm-12:00am

Pay:
- $38 Hr, $45 if you pass pulse test
- $135 Per diem if you qualify
