NSC Staffing is hiring an Aluminum MIG Welder to support structural welding operations aboard Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) during repair availabilities in Marinette, WI. This is an excellent opportunity to join a skilled marine team working on high-profile naval projects. The ideal candidate will have prior marine welding experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative shipyard environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Certify and maintain proficiency in GMAW (MIG) welding on aluminum and carbon steel.
Work collaboratively with subcontractors, Lockheed Martin teams, ship's force, and government inspectors.
Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA10 Maritime and Firewatch requirements.
Maintain high attendance standards, with availability for regular overtime and weekend work.
Contribute to shipboard modifications and repairs in compliance with naval and industry standards.
Support other marine trade activities as needed, including structural, electrical, and outfitting tasks.

Qualifications:
GMAW (MIG) Welding Certification on aluminum and carbon steel required; ability to certify upon hire if not current.
Previous experience working on LCS (Littoral Combat Ship) platforms is highly desired.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.
OSHA10 Maritime Certification required (can be obtained prior to assignment).
Firewatch Training required (can be obtained prior to assignment).
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple entities in a complex shipyard environment.
Knowledge of additional marine trades (structural fitting, electrical, outfitting) is a plus.

Test:
Welders will be tested on both Aluminum and Carbon Steel GMAW fillet welds in 2F, 3F, and 4F positions.

Pay:
$28/hour and $130 per diem for each day worked.

Work schedule:
Monday-Friday 5:30am-4:00pm (10 hours), Saturday 5:30am-2:00pm (8 hours)
