Essential Functions:
Follow all shipyard safety rules and procedures
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Use various shipbuilding tools and equipment such as grinders and torches
Performs large panel and double bottom assembly, including pre-outfitting
Work across fabrication shops and dry dock as needed

Requirements:
5+ years of shipfitting experience in a shipyard environment
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
Must successfully pass skills assessment and written test
Must successfully complete urinalysis and background check
Must be able to work any shift
