Job Description: Marine Pipe Fitter
Location: South Point, OH

Pay: $45/hr plus $100 per diem for days worked

Are you an experienced Marine Pipe Fitter with a knack for working with primarily carbon steel pipe, specifically Schedule 80, and the ability to read blueprints looking for a new opportunity in South Point, OH? We are currently seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

- Proficiency in pipe fitting tasks, including cutting, threading, and installing carbon steel pipe of Schedule 80 specifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and piping diagrams accurately to execute pipe fitting projects effectively

Responsibilities:
- Must have prior Shipyard experience
- Installing, assembling, and fitting carbon steel pipe of Schedule 80 dimensions on tugboats under construction in a shipbuilding setting
- Collaborating with team members to ensure precise alignment and installation of piping according to specifications
- Conducting pipe pressure testing and inspections to meet quality and safety standards

Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Pipe Fitter, specializing in carbon steel pipe fittings and installations
- Strong knowledge of working with Schedule 80 carbon steel pipe and related components
- Ability to interpret blueprints, piping isometrics, and technical drawings for efficient pipe fitting processes
- Commitment to safety practices and quality workmanship in all pipe fitting tasks

Working Hours: 50+ hours per week
