Now accepting resumes for top level welders with PQR experience to support welding procedure qualification and production welding activities for an upcoming shipyard project.

Essential Functions:
- Weld qualification coupons for new Navy-approved procedures
- Work with welding engineers to develop and qualify WPSs
- Weld specialty materials such as HY-80, HY-100
- Perform critical welds that will undergo destructive and nondestructive testing
- Support NAVSEA, ABS, military specification, or customer audits
- Help qualify procedures for specific positions, thicknesses, joint designs, and welding processes

Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen
- 7+ years of journeyman welding experience
- Experience with FCAW and X-ray quality welding required; some SMAW experience also preferred
- Experience performing welding procedure qualifications (PQR) test welds required
- Familiarity with NAVSEA, ABS, AWS, or military welding specifications preferred
- Experienced welding test coupons for mechanical and nondestructive testing

Must successfully complete drug screen and background check
