CTR has an immediate need for Heavy Equipment Operators for Newport News, VA
Long term/ Full time/ Per Diem/ Overtime available may work 8-, 10-or 12-hour shift
Pay range is DOE up to $27/hr and $140 a day per diem

Requirements:

Candidate should be trained to operate excavating equipment (i.e. backhoe, excavator),

Experience driving, operating dump truck, previous on-the-job training will be considered

Individual must be physically fit, able to lift min. of 50 lbs., perform manual labor in an outdoor environment.

Candidate must be able to work overtime and weekends as required by plant operations.

Candidate should have a good driving record and be willing to become a qualified equipment operator Backhoe, dump truck).

Candidate will be expected to place high priorities on safety, quality, willing to obtain knowledge of excavating in areas with multiple underground utilities.

Candidate must be able to climb and descend inclined and vertical ladders of various heights.
Able to work in kneeling, crawling, stooping, squatting, bending positions.
Able to work in extreme temperature conditions.
Able to work in high noise, dusty or smoky environments.
