Pay: $35.00/Hour + Per Diem offered to non-local candidates
Location: Goose Creek, SC
Duration: 6+ Years

Background check and hair follicle drug test required
U.S. Citizenship required

Requirements:

• 5 years of related experience with a High School Diploma/GED and/or certification in assigned area preferred.

Job Description:

Responsible for installing, modifying, and repairing new and existing piping systems and equipment.

Pipefitters work from drawings, blueprints, and sketches to plan and lay out the routing, placement, pitch, elevation, pressure reduction, expansion, and operation of various piping systems and equipment.

Duties include setting up system routes, placing and cutting route openings, installing hangers at the proper pitch and elevation, and installing risers, branch outlets, expansion joints, pumps, gauges, and pressure regulators.

Pipefitters also install equipment by planning and completing the routing and placement of systems, determining proper elevations and placement, and joining, sealing, and testing systems and equipment for proper pressure, leak-free joints, and operation.
