DIRECT HIRE - Machine Shop Foreman at Lake Union Drydock Company, Seattle WA (full-service ship repair yard on Lake Union since 1919).

Pay: about $104,000/year ($50.08/hour) plus overtime. Medical + 401(k) pension paid through Machinists Union Local 160. 11 paid holidays, 2 weeks PTO. Anticipated start September 8-15, 2026.

Supervise Inside and Outside Machinists (leadmen, journeymen, mechanics, helpers, apprentices). Coordinate equipment and labor for machinery work: interpret specs and drawings, assign personnel, provide crews technical docs/materials/tooling, identify job hazards.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Leadman or Foreman experience as a Marine Machinist, recent shipyard work
- 10+ years as a Machinist (marine/industrial)
- 3+ years as a Machinist Supervisor
- Inside machine shop equipment experience; read micrometer, English + metric
- Marine vessel + confined-space safety knowledge
- Union environment (CBA with Machinists Local 160)

Physical: shipyard/shipboard environment, walking/standing/climbing, lift 50 lbs, indoor/outdoor in all weather.
