CTR has an immediate need for Marine Electricians for Norfolk, VA
Long term/ Full time/ Per Diem/ Overtime available
1st shift
Working 8,10, or 12 hour shifts
pay range up to $30/hr DOE and $120 a day per diem

Must have minimum 5 years experience in trade working Shipyard repair
Must be familiar and able to understand NAVSEA Standard Items.
Must have knowledge of and ability to use hand tools, instruments associated with the trade- Flukes, meggers, temp sensors, drills, blast machines, grinders, test panels.
Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of wire sizes and capacity of each. Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of AC and DC power and control of same.
Must be familiar with a variety of engine room and ship's electrical systems.
Must be able to expertly perform installation, repair, overhaul, modification of shipboard items in shop to electrical electromechanical systems, components.

Must be able to pass drug test and background check
