Job Description (Provide Details): We are seeking experienced Overhead Crane Operators to support bulk material handling operations at the Alabama State Docks. Candidates will be responsible for safely operating overhead cranes to load, unload, and move bulk materials in a fast-paced marine terminal environment off and on barges.
Qualifications
1–3 years of overhead crane operating experience preferred
Experience with:
Duty Cycle Cranes
Clamshell Buckets
Unloading bulk materials
Strong commitment to safety and operational procedures
Ability to work day or night shifts as assigned
Requirements
Valid TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
Must be able to obtain an Alabama State Docks Badge
Badge application will be submitted through the Alabama State Docks for each selected candidate
Must be a local candidate (no per diem or travel assistance available)
Important Note
Wench operators are not being considered for these positions. Candidates must have direct experience operating overhead cranes used in bulk material handling operations.
