Duration: 2+ Years
Pay: $22.48–$27.31/hour
Per Diem: $110/day

PMQS – Project Quality Management Quality Services is seeking experienced Riggers for a long-term shipyard opportunity.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of heavy rigging experience
• Experience with chain hoists (1–40 tons), shackles, wire rope, and rigging gear
• Knowledge of weight calculations and center of gravity
• Experience moving heavy steel, piping, machinery, and equipment
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Must pass Physical Agility Test and respirator fit test
• Must pass background check and drug test
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Must be able to complete the DBIDS process
• REAL ID + Birth Certificate OR REAL ID + Passport required
• Must be available for assigned shifts

Candidates will initially work in Newport News, VA and later transfer to Norfolk, VA.
