Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of shipbuilding pipefitting experience OR 5 years of industrial pipefitting experience
- Experience with silver brazing, CuNi, bronze, and carbon steel
- Ability to read piping drawings and use mechanical hand tools
- Experience installing and fitting shipboard piping systems

Required Silver Brazing Test:
Candidates must successfully complete three tests:
- CuNi Pipe to Bronze Sleeve: Vertical & Horizontal Flow
- CuNi Pipe to Carbon Steel Sleeve: Vertical & Horizontal Flow
- Copper Coupling to Copper Pipe: Vertical & Horizontal Flow
- Testing is performed in a semi-restricted booth
