Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of shipyard shipfitting experience
- Ability to read and interpret structural blueprints
- Experience fitting, aligning, and assembling structural steel components
- Proficiency with layout, measuring, cutting, and grinding tools
- Experience with tack welding and preparing structural assemblies
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts

Required Skills Test
- Candidates must be able to pass applicable single-pass fillet weld tests:
- FCAW Steel: 3F and 4F on 3/8" plate
- GMAW-Pulse Aluminum: 3F and 4F on 3/8" plate
- Break testing of weld samples
