ERSG is currently seeking an Electrical/I&C Designer for major power client in Florida.
This is an intermediate level position that will be focused on a backlog reduction effort of electrical/I&C drawings. Work is performed under general supervision. Looking for an individual that understands power plant drawings, standards, structure, and relationships. Has to be willing to walk down equipment to cross check drawings and to coordinate with Operators and/or Maintenance Technicians to correctly update As-Build plant configurations into applicable documents. Will work closely with Drafters to finalize/revise drawings and approve for issuance. Also will need to become fluent in use of ACT to properly document changes. Experience with AE drawing systems is a plus.
Include the following:
•Will the employees primary duty includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. Yes, primary duties will be to review electrical as built drawings, field check them and update configurations in the system.
•If yes, what do these duties entail and how will they directly impact the business operations or the customers? Impact of these systems is to protect employees for the purposes of LOTO as well as other field and engineering work.
Graduation from a two-year college or university in a technical field, or a bachelors degree in engineering technology. Minimum of two years experience.
