SUPERVISOR FIELD SERVICES TEAM LEAD
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Regional Manager of Field Services
TRAVEL: 50%-100% (Depends on region and your permanent location)

Support Field Services Director & Key Account Executives in estimates/bid proposals, project oversight, & quality assurance (HP & Safety). Provide supplemental support for projects as necessary in the capacity of a project lead or providing direction to the project lead.

Support Field Services Director, Project Estimator & Key Accounts Executive in estimates and bid proposal
Support in personnel assignments to projects
Collaborate with Project Manager to help ensure project success
Insure Safety Practices, Human Performance and quality assurance for field service projects
Provide Project Technical Support to Field Service personnel
Responsible for creating/collaborating on processes and procedures for Field Service Department
Participate in field services staff training
Provide technical/field support for testing and commissioning of large, high voltage substation expansion projects
Reviewing procedures and/or test plans in support of large electric utility for 13kv and above power systems
Assist Technicians in troubleshooting protection and control issues as required
Assist in routine troubleshooting and repair of substation relaying and control equipment in Transmission & Distribution substations
Perform Employee yearly evaluations
Approve all vacation and time off requests for direct reports
Perform job site HP and Safety audits
Other duties as assigned
Ability to Communicate as a Professional
Ability to instruct 3 phase power systems; power system protection & control schemes; test equipment; test equipment software Test equipment and tool/wiring usage; interpretation of wiring and elementary diagrams; basic test skills to perform duties listed above, basic PC skills
Ability and willingness to work out of town as required
Understand and adhere to applicable equipment and clearance procedures and safety practices
Reference and complete assignments as described in applicable specifications
Valid drivers license and a good driving record
Self-motivated, with a positive attitude
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Minimum of 7 years of field experience in commissioning, panel and equipment checkout, relay calibration, testing and commissioning substation relaying and control schemes for large electric utilities for 4kv and above power systems
Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, management ability
Exercises good communication, negotiation, organizational and time management skills
HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:
Associate of Electrical Technology (AET) or the equivalent specialized training in system protection
Preferred education Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Electrical Technology (BET),
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Professional Engineer is a plus
Technical experience may be substituted in lieu of a Technical Degree

Job will require travel to visit client job sites
Appropriate safety training and safety equipment will be provided by PGE as required
While performing duties of this job, employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects and tools
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus
