ERSG is seeking a DCS Engineer for an contract opportunity near Warren Ohio.

Pay $60 per hour.

Length of time: 3 months

The Unit Coordination Commissioning engineer performs commissioning of the Supplier’s scope of supply of I&C equipment and the correct startup of the power plant relating to start-up times and grid codes, as well as the Interface to others scopes and for providing proper and expedient technical direction required to support these activities.
The Unit Coordination Commissioning Engineer performs personally the commissioning of the Unit coordination (Unit Control) .

Responsibilities (technical):
• responsible commissioning of C&I components mainly of WS and HRSG.
• Optimization of open and closed control loops mainly of WS and HRSG.
• Optimization of coordination (I&C control’) between all components of the power plant.
• Optimization of open and closed loop controls coordinating the power plant output.
• responsible commissioning of the Unit Control / Unit Coordination in T3000 in relation to:
o Startup times
o Grid Codes
o Optimization of control circuits acc. to logic-diagrams to achieve the contractual obligations regarding performance and startup features.
• responsible for the proper handling of comm. documentation

Responsibilities (administrative):
• reporting to the commissioning management
• providing all documentation related to final acceptance of the customer
• identifying field changes and other problems related to the Supplier’s scope and obtaining the approval of the comm. management prior to start of work
• identifying and resolving conflicts between installed and as-designed conditions

• experience in execution of identical or similar commissioning
• command of the english language in writing and speaking
• technical qualification to interpret commissioning documentation and software
• experience of commissioning and operating of the Supplier’s products
• knowledge of the KKS-System
• In Depth knowledge of all systems of the power plant and their interaction. 321-200-6668
