[Electrical Engineer] Major Electric Utility Needs Electrical Engineers! (Permanent Positions)

One of our clients, a major Nuclear Power Electric Utility, has a need for several Electrical Engineers (permanent in-house positions). Senior and Staff level positions available at both the Site and Corporate locations! This career opportunity is located near a Resort Area that offers boating, fishing and a variety of other water recreation activities, perfect for the outdoor enthusiast. This geography offers a low cost-of-living, but is still close to the amenities of a large city with a major airport close by, making for easy travel. This position offers a steady daylight alternate work schedule, offering 3-day weekends every other week, allowing you to enjoy more time with family!

As the Electrical and I&C Design Engineer you will develop electrical and I&C engineering specific solutions in support of nuclear plant design modifications and lead project activities for analog to digital control system upgrades for process control systems.

As the Electrical Component Engineer you will be the subject matter expert for electrical equipment. You will perform equivalency evaluations for obsolete equipment and design specification alterations. You will also update design basis and licensing documentation, drawings and the configuration management database.

As the Electrical Rapid Response Engineer you will develop electrical engineering specific solutions in support of emergent plant activities. Activities include preparing temporary modifications, design change packages, engineering calculations, independent reviews and safety evaluations.

The qualified candidate for Electrical Engineer MUST have:

* BS Degree in Electrical Engineering required (EIT or PE License a plus).
* Five (5) plus years Engineering Experience working in the Electric Utility, Power, Transmission and Distribution or related Energy Industry.
* Experience working as one of the following:
Electrical or I&C Design Engineer
Electrical Rapid Response Engineer
Electrical Component Engineer
* Good communication skills (oral and written).
* Excellent references.
