One of our clients, a major Electric Utility, has a need for a Rapid Response Engineer (permanent in-house position). Junior, Mid-Level, Senior and Principal Level Positions available! This career opportunity is located near a Resort Area that offers boating, fishing and a variety of other water recreation activities, perfect for the outdoor enthusiast. This geography offers a low cost-of-living, but is still close to the amenities of a large city with a major airport close by, making for easy travel. This position offers a steady daylight alternate work schedule, offering 3-day weekends every other week, allowing you to enjoy more quality time with family! The company offers a very competitive compensation package including generous base salary, excellent benefits, company funded retirement plan (vested in just 3 years) and full relocation package for the successful candidate!

As the Rapid Response Engineer you will develop Electrical and I&C engineering specific solutions in support of power plant emergent work. You will prepare engineering design change packages and temporary modifications and conduct independent design reviews and safety evaluations including updating the design documents, licensing basis and Safety Analysis Report (SAR) as required. You will provide technical support for shop maintenance including resolving technical issues and providing input to maintenance procedures related to implementation of complex plant modifications. You will participate in problem solving and decision making teams, troubleshooting efforts and developing repair strategies and action plans for plant equipment.

The qualified candidate for the Rapid Response Engineer MUST have:

* BS Degree in Engineering (Electrical desired).
* Three (3)+ plus years Engineering Experience working in the Electric Utility Industry.
* Electrical and/or I&C Engineering Experience (Systems, Design or Field Engineering experience) required.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
* Excellent references.
