Contract Position
Duration (-/+) 12 months

Candidates local to the Columbus, OH area only
Responsible for negotiating and writing contracts for services with outside vendors working in conjunction with business unit personnel. Write the deal summary and deal detail for assigned contracts with supervision. Write performance criteria and service level expectations that match the business requirements. Write modifications to existing agreements and work with the Legal department as necessary to protect the interest of company. Will lead the negotiation process on non-complex contracts.

Principal Accountabilities:
1. Review existing contract documents to identify, edit, and assemble supporting information to complete contract files, in order to ensure policy adherence on a quick timeline.
2. Prepare and draft the deal summary for new medium-complexity contracts with some oversight.
3. Understand the parameters of the boilerplate terms and conditions.
4. Write performance criteria and service levels that match the business requirements.
5. Write modifications to existing agreements using various models, with oversight.
6. Assist and potentially lead the negotiation process through data research, preparation, issue recognition and escalation of issues for non-complex contracts.
7. Define best/worst case scenarios, problem solve, and suggest solutions.
8. Draft new purchase/sale orders and contracts, and amendments/letter agreements/notices under existing agreements.
9. Determine contract pricing/rates/surcharges pursuant to escalation provisions.
10. Assist in administering and ensuring data integrity in the Contract Labor Program.
11. Collaborate with internal stakeholders in modifying contract General Terms & Conditions.
12.Maintain documents in the Contracts Online and Documentum systems.
13. Administer a portfolio of standard and non-standard labor contracts.
14.Comply with SOX Controls pertaining to document creation and contract administration.

REQUIREMENTS - OTHER: These are additional expectations for the job and could include specific work experience:
1) Follow policies, practices, standards and rules of the company and those regulations and procedures required externally.
2) Understand various price models, cost containment models, pricing caps, total cost-of-ownership model, and indices.
3) Apply problem-solving skills and use creativity in problem solving
4) Possess team working skills such as collaboration, commitment, active listening and acknowledgement.
5) Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6) Ability to manage executive stakeholder requests in a positive manner with a high level of customer service.
7) Possess a solid understanding of MS-Office skills.
8) Experience specific to contracting, sourcing, or legal support for Professional Services and Consulting Agreements experience is not required, but an advantage.

Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field of study.

Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of related contract and/or supply chain experience.

REQUIREMENTS - OTHER: These are additional expectations for the job and could include specific work experience, license / certifications, preemployment testing, expectations about travel, shift work, etc.
