Neatly lay out wire in assembly units
Assemble components for power distribution, static switching, and power monitoring equipment used primarily in data centers
Candidates will primarily sitting all day at a work station, utilizing hand and power tools to install small components and batteries into TOB Units.Candidate will appropriately label unit, and send to test area for final test and shipping.
Candidates are expected to limit re-work with a strong attention to quality and detail. Candidates will not read blueprints or drawings, instead must be able to replicate tasks from own note taking and memory.
Install circuit breakers, sheet metal, bolt components into unit
If asked to cross train into Control wiring, this is a lighter form of assembly, they could be sitting and standing and running wires throughout the units. These wires are not as difficult to bend however due require crimping and strong attention to detail in working with small parts and wiring.
If asked to train in Hard Wire: working with a much sturdier, thicker type of wire. Must be able to bend, shape and run wire through out unit which could require lifting and pulling materials up to 50 lbs.
Saturdays are just like 1st shift currently, but could possibly change in the future.
