One of our clients, one of the largest Energy companies in the world, has an urgent need for a Senior Outage Planner. This is a 12 month “contract assignment” anticipated to last through the end of January, 2020! A contract extension or full-time permanent opportunities are a real possibility for a top performer! This career opportunity is geographically located near popular resort areas offering boating, fishing and wine tasting, with metropolitan, rural and cultural areas within easy reach. Gain valuable “resume building experience” on this assignment as a Senior Outage Planner in an Industry that is growing by the day!

In the role of a Senior Outage Planner you will work closely with the engineering and operations team to ensure that the scope of the outage plan for the project is completed satisfactory. You will also review the established project outage assessments and requirements, and organize an outage kick-off meeting. You will develop high-level preliminary outage plans for the transmission and distribution, substations, and lines from low voltage facilities to high voltage facilities. In addition, you will conduct outage planning presentations for the Project Team, Control Centers, ISO, Divisions, Municipals, etc.

The qualified candidate for a Senior Outage Planner MUST HAVE:
* Four (4) + years of engineering and/or construction supervision experience with transmission & distribution (T&D) type projects.
* Experience scheduling and/or planning electrical system outages.
* Degree preferred but not required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Seeking local candidates to the Boston, MA area (Per Diem not offered).
