The IT Analyst, Senior Technical Writer is critical to IT security risk management and compliance with enterprise policies, and regulatory requirements, including North American Electric Reliability Corporation - Critical Infrastructure Protection (NERC CIP) and Nuclear Regulatory Commission - Nuclear Cyber (10 CFR 73.54). A key element of this role is effective partnership and engagement across lines-of-defense, to serve Entergys best interests. This scope of this role includes design, authoring, publication and maintenance of technical artifacts (e.g. standards, process-flows, procedures and work instructions). Must: demonstrate professional technical writing expertise, with comprehension of IT cyber security, risk and compliance. Advanced Microsoft Office product skills. Preferred: relevant tools; e.g. Adobe Creative Suite. IT risk & security standards (e.g. COBIT, ISO, NIST-CSF, C2M2). Regulatory requirements (e.g. NERC CIP, NRC Nuclear Cyber 10 CFR 73.54, SOX, PCI, Privacy). Ability to travel (up to 25%). Advance the design and delivery of digital artifacts, products and services. Innovate and automate solutions, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the IT Security Risk & Compliance strategy, and its alignment to business objectives.
Author, organize and maintain a wide variety of complex technical artifacts (e.g. standards, process-flows, and procedures).
Work with subject matter experts to collect, organize and evaluate technical and non-technical information.
Author, edit, publish and maintain artifacts through entire lifecycle from artifact conception to completion and presentation.
Identify and resolve gaps between company standards, regulatory requirements and artifacts.
Systematically design and write accurate artifacts in a clear, concise and compelling style.
Deliver high-quality artifacts that are clear, concise, easy-to-understand and meet audience needs.
Visualize content (e.g. layouts, charts, graphics) to deliver powerful messaging in conjunction with written content.
Recommend and implement editorial standards and style guides.
Ensure artifact quality, clarity, punctuation, grammar, content, and continuity of style.
Maintain effective management of records, including the IT documentation library.

3 to 5 years of work experience and expertise, capabilities and accomplishments directly relevant to the position.
1+ years of work experience in a regulatory compliance function within a utility or related, or highly regulated industry.
Intermediate level presentation skills including to Management, and Executive audiences.
Preferred; IT and cyber security governance, risk, controls, compliance, and IT audit assurance and advisory.
Must work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
Must manage ambiguity, perform in a fast-paced environment, and resolve urgent and competing demands.
Must have measured courage to say no, to focus on key priorities.
Willing and able to work flexible hours and go above-&-beyond to deliver outcomes.
Bachelors degree required.
