Utility QA/QC Inspector needed for a direct opportunity with ExecuPOWER in the Greater Philadelphia Area


What You'll Be Doing:

A QC Inspector is an individual who observes, monitors, and documents the execution of construction work performed in the field by utility and contractor crews.
Spend 90+% of the time in the field performing QC inspections, Inspection of existing utility facilities such as URD cables, splices, terminations, transformers, and other facilities as required
Some domestic travel to client locations may be required
Document identified deviations in QCI in a timely manner,
Conduct and document Safety Audits as required
Work collaboratively with client quality team and other stakeholders to ensure inspection orders are accurate and the queue is loaded with enough active orders for inspectors to remain busy for 3+ weeks
Provide support for distribution inspectors
Assist in the overall management of the project scope, schedule, and budget
Participate in project meetings and assist with monitoring schedules, tracking milestones, and creating reports
Coordinate communication and provide status updates to stakeholders
Establish and maintain effective working relationships
Help plan and implement process improvements, including future state design, change management, and transition planning
Analyze workflows and processes to identify process inefficiencies and areas for improvement
Assist with project invoicing and client close out activities

Proficient in learning and utilizing software systems, using multiple resources to analyze/verify information, and organizing data for actionable use.
Proficiency using utility maps and locating equipment in the field,
Knowledge of utility work practices and procedures,
Proficient in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions and project consequences of proposed actions, and implementing recommendations to support project scope, schedule, and cost objectives
Possess an in-depth understanding of data analytics, internal control and risk analysis, modern business methods, and performance measure techniques
Demonstrate excellent leadership, verbal and written communications, time management, and interpersonal and organizational skills
Consistently produce results that meet goals, possess high work standards, and understand the business environment and processes
Achieves results by problem-solving, setting priorities, and organization
Ability to work independent effectively


What You Need to Bring to the Table:

Demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities
Must be able to prepare clear and concise status updates and reports as required
Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
Familiarity with utility systems and industry
